Commonly, cleaning a well is put off until trouble develops. Maintenance is deferred until the capacity has dropped off considerably or the pump is breaking suction. All information that you can attain will keep you informed of any possible problems before they become serious, which will save you money.

The cost for new well construction is expensive, and with the government tightening down on loans and grants and the time involved in getting one, it is more important today to implement a preventive maintenance program in every well to insure that you will not be without water under any circumstances.
